We are running 5-day holiday trips for you because we love sailing the Jurassic coast, France, Belgium or the Channel Islands. Capacity will initially be limited to one household and their bubble and then to ease this off as the restrictions lift. This equates on to a Max of 8 people on Wolverine, which is the luxury end of our fleet.

Cost is £250 per head and assumes 8 guests. This exclusive sailing trip includes: Skipper, wet suits, safety kit, tender and outboard for those beech BBQ’s, and river exploration and, of course, diesel.

To book please reserve the place on Meetup - a £500 deposit will be required to hold that booking and it will be based on a first come first serve basis. Jack will be in touch to organise the finer points and answer your questions. If someone has already filled that weekend, just go on the reserve list as they do come available.

The large print

COVID-19

No one may sail if they have the symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) i.e.

1. a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back. NB the skipper will check the temperature of all those before boarding the yacht.

2. a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

3. a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different from normal

Wolverine will be sanitised between trips and we will ask you to bring your own pillow cases and bedding.

Booking

Once you have booked a place you will automatically have the allocation of you and 7 guests. You can have less people on the boat, but you would need to pay a supplement to meet the total yacht charter cost of £2000.00. A deposit of £500 will be required within 2 weeks of booking to hold that place.

Full amount will be due 4 weeks from date of charter.

Cancellation by us because of bad weather, illness or mechanical failure will result in a heartfelt apology and a full refund or an alternative date that suits you with no increase in charter fees.

Your Holiday

You exclusively get the yacht / skipper / diesel / safety equipment / wet suits (hopefully we won’t need them) and a tender with an outboard to use as an exploration boat for the duration of your holiday.

Extras that you will need to consider:

Provisions - Think about the ratio of food / drink on board vs dining out, we can help you with that roughly a week from the departure date as we get a clearer picture on the weather and what you would like from your exclusive trip. NB: The charterer will be responsible for making provision for the skippers’ meals, don’t worry he eats most things.

Subject to the above, the charterer will be liable for gas bottle refill within the week

Learning vs relaxing: The skipper will teach you as much as you would like to learn on the practicalities and theories of sailing. This is not compulsory and as long as you are fit and willing to lend a hand on boat handling then relax in between times

Mooring costs: The charterer will be responsible for any mooring costs for the period of the holiday.

Damage: The charterer will be responsible for the first £500 of any damage caused by your party. This will be taken care of as a refundable deposit a week before your holiday departure date.

Where can we sail in 5 days?

That largely depends on weather and what you want, for example we can stay at sea and avoid everyone, or we can anchor off those busy beaches and have our own exclusive play area, the choice is yours. We can help you by be-spoking the sailing plan during the week before your departure date, so it appeals to everyone in your party.

Joining and departing your yacht

It’s yours from 09:30hrs on the start of your holiday until 15:00hrs on the date of your departure.
