The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 43 is designed with intelligent use of its voluminous space both in the cabin and on deck. An L-shaped galley and U-shaped dinette finished in an elegant teak joinery and each to starboard, provide ample room for guests and those tending to them, as do two separate heads. Standing headroom in the cabin ranges from 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 11 inches.
Our 43 sleeps 11 in comfort by way of her twin aft double cabins and hanging lockers which lead to a head and shower to port. To starboard there is a forward-facing navigation station, which houses the electronic equipment including the VHF chart plotter. Forward of the dinette and through the companion way there are two Pullman style bunks and hanging lockers with another set of heads to port. At the forepeak another twin cabin waits to great you.

3 further berths are to be found within the saloon, whereby the table simply folds down to create a double bunk with another single bunk available opposite the dinette. Twin helm stations leave the centre alley open, and the middle section of the helmseat drops down to clear the way to the bathing platform. A midships cockpit table provides a foot brace under sail.
All sailhandling lines from the mast run through stoppers on the cabin top, and their tails drop down the companionway. Sail is simple with Genoa furling and mainsail stack packs.
